Skrapztacular II – The Christmas Retreat 2008

Have you ever dreamed about being able to work on your scrapbook all day and night, only stopping to eat a delicious meal prepared by someone especially for you? Imagine having the space to crop in luxurious surroundings with no telephone in the background, no urgency to prepare and cook a family meal, no children to chase into bed and no need to put all you craft tools away at night cos they won’t be in the dogs way. Sounds like heaven doesn't it?
This scenario is exactly what we have in mind when we plan a Skrapz Retreat. Our next venue is the Holiday Inn, Ironbridge, Telford Shropshire. Situated just off the M54 at Telford.
We have a fantastic weekend arranged with Pyjama Parties, make and takes, auctions for charity, cocktails, goody bags galore and scrapbook shopping to die for. All in one place. This retreat is guaranteed to be the ultimate Christmas Scrapbooking weekend.
Classes will be revealed closer to the event but you can rest assured they will be jam packed full of creative Christmas ideas from layouts to cards, calendars to small thoughtful gifts. This retreat will be the perfect chance to get your Christmas projects started and finished all in one weekend.

How Much? There are several options to choose from:

Friday – Sunday
Includes: 3 course dinner Friday night, Saturday Full English Breakfast, hot 2 course lunch, 3 course dinner, Sunday Full English Breakfast, choice of 4 make and takes/mini class Goody bag. 48 hours of cropping time, full use of the hotel leisure facilities.

- Mini Weekend Package
Saturday - Sunday
Includes; Saturday hot 2 course lunch, 3 course dinner, Sunday Full English Breakfast, choice of 4 make and takes/mini class Goody bag. 24 hours of cropping time, full use of the hotel leisure facilities
single room rate - £255
twin share - £240
- Saturday Only - £60
Includes Cropping 9:00am – 7:00pm, hot 2 course lunch, choice of 2 make and takes/mini class Goody bag.
Check out is 10am on Sunday however the crop room will be available until 5:00pm

Those of you who choose an overnight option will be able to use the Health Spa at no extra cost, Gym, Sauna, Jaccuzzi, Swimming pool etc

There will be a professional beautician available through out please book directly with the hotel.
Classes
Themes and exact details will be announced at the end of September. Each class will be of 1½ hours duration, Costs include expert tuition, all class materials and a few other bits and pieces thrown in.
Payment
To reserve a place on our Retreat we require a deposit of £80 this is not refundable unless the retreat is cancelled by us in which case a full refund will be given.
Once we have received your deposit you have until September 30th 2008 to pay the balance. Any accounts not settled by then will receive a reminder to settle immediately or forfeit their place.
When we call you to confirm your place we will ask you how and when you would like to pay the balance, ie monthly, bi-monthly, weekly.
Those of you who wish to pay by cheque we will hold your place for 10 days to allow the cheque to arrive and clear before we can confirm your place.

Early Bird Special
If we receive payment in full by July 1st 2008 for a full weekend or mini weekend package we will take £50 off your accommodation fee. We’re sorry but this does not apply to the Saturday only option.

Just wanted to drop you a quick line to say thanks for a great weekend, I had loads of fun and was very productive, which is really important to me as I don't get much uninterrupted time to scrap at home! I thought it was fab of you to get Shimelle, I learned a lot from her and, as well as doing 4 LOs between noon and 3pm yesterday, I've done one today as well!
